In this workshop we will learn how to construct and sew a book with signatures and a pamphlet.

Paper will be provided, but if participants already have something printed that they’d like to bind they’re welcome to bring it in. We will also go over making simple covers using cardstock and flex board.

Nic Koning is an artist and bookbinder from New York who works in experimental printmaking and book based sculptures. They graduated with an MFA from Hunter College in December, 2024.
