Our garden is a rare green space in dense urban North Jersey located at our Guttenberg, NJ studio. Established in 2019, we cultivate hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables and fruits for our community, alongside dye plants like indigo, madder, and goldenrod for our artists to work with. The garden is a living classroom, a gathering place, and a vital source of nourishment.
It is a space for members to learn about sustainable agriculture, grow and harvest food, and engage in cross-pollination between artistic disciplines and ecologically sound horticulture.
Low cost or free classes on organic gardening and plant-centered artistic disciplines, neighborhood composting, movies, concerts and community get-togethers are offered throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.
