Free Workshop
In this all-level screenprinting workshop we’ll practice a method of screenprinting that does not require access to studio equipment or chemical emulsions.

All Ages
We’ll use the “flop” registration method to build prints of at least two layers, utilize the positive and negative shapes from cut paper, and explore making third colors through ink transparency.

K Sarrantonio uses experimental printmaking processes to represent aspects of queer domesticity. Born in the Hudson Valley, K lives and works in Jackson Heights, NY. They received an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BA from Hampshire College. They have attended residencies at Vermont Studio Center, Crosstown Arts, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center, McColl Center and Women’s Studio Workshop and Guttenberg Arts. K has taught screenprinting workshops to artists of all ages.
