Guttenberg Arts Narrative Expressions is a 10-week art and therapy program designed to support youth in exploring identity, self-expression, and emotional literacy through art. Hosted in Guttenberg Arts' vibrant nonprofit studio, this trauma-informed program combines therapeutic modalities like Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Polyvagal Theory to guide participants through self-discovery and creative self-empowerment. Each session encourages youth to examine facets of their identity, navigate complex emotions, and build resilience, culminating in an empowering, community-centered art project. By fostering a safe, inclusive healing space, Guttenberg Arts empowers young participants to visualize their stories and develop essential tools for self-regulation, connection, and self-worth. This program is made possible by donor support, allowing marginalized, BIPOC & LGBTQ+ youth to engage in a transformative journey at the intersection of art and therapy.
