Marks into Meaning is a drawing workshop that explores how texture—the tactile quality of a surface—can be used as a conduit for bringing depth, expression, and emotion into drawings.

Participants will be led through a series of touch-based drawing exercises to translate physical sensation into a visual language of compelling, meaningful marks. An afternoon of drawing for beginner to intermediate artists, educators, and anyone interested in expanding their understanding of texture and mark making as an expressive visual tool.
