Esmé makes large-scale, mixed media work that celebrates chemical and biological systems, as they align with the human condition. Her visual language recasts human institutions as inherent principles that can be observed in nature. Esmé’s technical canon seeks to engage connective strands across disparate cultures and subcultures. Her movement art is heavily engaged in collaboration and rooted in themes of metamorphosis.

Eldridge utilizes unassuming and demure palettes to create an extreme sense of volume. She has developed this style from an early age due to her rare vision impairment. The limited colors and depth with which she sees the world birthed her obsession for forms and aesthetics society overlooks. Esmé output draws on the tendency to recognize meaningful images or familiar patterns where there are none, a psychological phenomenon known as Pareidolia. By probing these visual errors of perception, Esmé has been able to express her love for the invisible.
