Each issue of Carrier Pigeon #18 Volume 5 Issue 2 includes 1 of 4 limited edition embossed prints from an edition of 250 and paper sculpture by Armando Guiller.
Every Issue of Carrier Pigeon #17 features one of ten original, solarplate etchings by A.J. Springer, a flip book by Andre Da Loba, acetate pages, a do-it-yourself paper sculpture wrap called "Dress Your Rocket" by contributing artist Michael McKeown and a foil stamped and embossed cover by the issue’s graphic designer, Kurt McGhee.
Every copy of CP16 includes a limited edition accordion book by Slavko Djuric and 9x13 woodcut titled "Who Owns the Sky" by Rob Swainston
Each copy of CP15 includes 1 of 8 two-color silkscreen prints printed on Arnhem 1618 paper with ink by Speedball Art products by co-founder Matt Barteluce as well as a perforated cardboard slip cover by artist Avraham Eilat
Every copy of CP14 includes one of 10 etchings by Evan Summer. Editioned at 100 prints each. As well as a perforated origami dust jacket with a fold out poster that create 3 origami pigeons by artist and issue designer Andre da Loba.
Every copy of CP13 includes, one of 10 solarplate etchings by Christina Pumo. Editioned at 100 prints each. A die cut dust jacket by Lauren Purje, and a fold out poster by Scott Teplin. Carrier Pigeon 13 is designed by Mark Bieri and Jeff Terzi of Suyn Projects.
Threaded through the back cover of every copy is a collectible letterpress artist book, The Latest Thing in Kites, by Christopher Fritton. In addition, an acetate folio of artwork by Dunja Jankovic is bound to the interior. Featured portfolio artist Carlos Hernandezdesigned the cover, and returning artist Joe Kupillasillustrates the front and back end pages with reproductions of his provocative photo-collages. The interior features six short works of fully illustrated and personal fiction and six artist portfolios from international voices. Limited to a run of 1,000 copies, each copy of Carrier Pigeon is an original, collectible object.
Jeremy Coleman Smith received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his MFA at New Jersey City University. His multi-disciplinary work combines the use of printmaking, sculpture and furniture as an investigation of objects and display. He was one of the recipients of the 2011 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture by the International Sculpture Center and his work has been featured in Sculpture Magazine and the New York Times. He has exhibited his work in galleries throughout the United States and is in several collections, including the Hoggard/ Wagner Collection, Capital Group, Fidelity Investments, and Cummins Diesel. Jeremy lives and works in both Jersey City and Portland, Oregon.
