Exhibition: Space In Time

  • Guttenberg Arts 6903 Jackson Street Guttenberg, NJ, 07093 USA (map)

Guttenberg Arts is pleased to announce Space in Time, a group exhibition featuring the works of current artist residents Osmeli Delgado, Lorena Estrella, and Adriane Colburn. The exhibition will be on view from April 12 through May 10, 2025. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, April 12, from 7 PM

to 9 PM. RSVP at guttenbergarts.org.

Osmeli Delgado's ceramic-based work explores the quiet presence of life that often goes unnoticed. Using thread and other materials, she constructs abstract compositions that suggest movement and the unseen energy between stillness and motion. Delgado's work encourages a return to the present moment, inviting viewers to experience the subtle flow of vitality that surrounds us.

Lorena Estrella is an artist, designer, and educator based in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her recent prints engage with the urgency of our current political moment while embracing the slower, deliberate process of hand-setting type. Juxtaposing speed and stillness, humor and gravity, Estrella's work reflects on dissonance and seeks to foster connection, solidarity, and hope as tools for resistance.

Adriane Colburn creates drawings, sculptures, and installations grounded in research into global systems, climate disruption, and landscape history. Her work draws from direct experience in the field, including scientific expeditions and local site investigations. Colburn is interested in how mapping and data abstraction can reveal-and obscure -the deep impacts of human infrastructure on the natural world

Space in Time presents the diverse practices and inquiries of Guttenberg Arts' current artists-in-residence, highlighting the role of research, materiality, and urgency in contemporary art making.
