We will meet three times a week (consecutively) to learn the principles of watercolor painting course outdoors-plein aire. The location of the class will be at North Hudson Braddock Park, North Bergen, NJ where we will learn to paint the each season's foliage in addition to painting lake, sky and grass with awareness of atmospheric perspective. In addition, the class will include an introduction to color theory and a brief history of artists working from the landscape using watercolor as their medium. Use of a camera is suggested for work reference at home. No prior painting experience is necessary, beginners welcomed.
