This weekend workshop is designed to provide students with basic skills in Silkscreen Printing.  Saturday's workshop will include a silkscreen printing process demonstration and teach students how to prepare high contrast imagery for production, and screen prep.  Sunday's workshop will teach students how to properly use the exposure unit and best practices for printing a edition. Beginners are welcome, no prior printmaking experience necessary!

Matt Barteluce is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer.  He received his BFA in 2003 from Maryland Institute College of Art and his MFA in 2010 at the School of Visual Arts.   He is currently director of Guttenberg Arts.

Russ Spitkovsky’s artwork has been included in numerous national and international publications and exhibitions. He is one of the founders of CARRIER PIGEON and is currently editor in chief and contributor of the quarterly publication.
